The Head of B2B & Strategic Partnerships will oversee the development and growth of key commercial relationships across retail, education, and B2B. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in driving growth, building partnerships, and leading cross-functional teams to achieve ambitious objectives. This role is based in the greater NYC area.

Yoto’s North America Team
The North America team is a dynamic, cross-functional group bringing together diverse expertise across multiple departments including Marketing, Commercial, Content, Operations, and Customer Happiness teams. Working collaboratively, we leverage our collective skills to deliver exceptional products and experiences to drive growth in our largest market. We are an agile group catering to the unique needs of the North American market, while maintaining strong connections with our global counterparts.
Your leadership will be crucial in expanding our B2B presence and spearheading growth in North America.
What you’ll be doing:
- Lead and execute Yoto’s North American B2B strategy, aligning with broader company goals and global initiatives
- Own B2B channel management, ensuring optimization of distribution channels, pricing structures, and promotional activities to drive revenue growth
- Identify and drive strategic partnerships across key channels, including retail, education, and corporate partnerships
- Create and execute strategies for educational outreach and partnerships, aligning with Yoto’s commitment to supporting learning
- Monitor, analyze, and report on the performance of all B2B and retail initiatives, using data-driven insights to optimize strategies and performance
- Own the budgeting and financial planning process for B2B and commercial partnerships in North America
- Ensure a data-driven approach, analyzing market trends, consumer behavior, and competitor strategies to inform business growth opportunities.
What you’ll bring:
- 10+ years of experience in business development, partnerships, and/or commercial strategy, ideally in a fast-growth startup or scale-up environment
- Proven track record of developing and executing strategic B2B and retail partnerships, particularly in consumer goods or technology sectors
- Deep understanding of North American retail, B2B channels, and educational markets
- Strong leadership. negotiation, relationship-building, and contract management skillsExceptional ability to analyze market trends, consumer behavior, and competitor strategies to identify new business opportunities.
- Experience with children’s products or educational technology is a plus!
Salary: $140,000 - $160,000 based on experience

Flexibility: Hybrid working with a choice based approach - we would love you to come into the Brooklyn office twice a week, if not more. Take advantage of our ‘work from anywhere’ policy to work from a different location for up to 6 weeks every year. Summer Hours policy to use between the months of June and August.

After 4 years of service, you are also eligible for our sabbatical policy offering up to 3 months' of unpaid sabbatical.
