B2B Lead, North America
We’re looking for a B2B Lead to manage and accelerate growth across our B2B channels in North America. This role will oversee the development and expansion of key commercial relationships across retail, education, and B2B. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in driving revenue, building partnerships, and collaborating with cross-functional teams. This role is based in the greater NYC area.

Yoto’s North America Team
The North America team is a dynamic, cross-functional group bringing together diverse expertise across multiple departments including Marketing, Commercial, Content, Operations, and Customer Happiness teams. Working collaboratively, we leverage our collective skills to deliver exceptional products and experiences to drive growth in our largest market. We are an agile group catering to the unique needs of the North American market, while maintaining strong connections with our global counterparts.
What you’ll be doing:
Your leadership will be crucial in maximizing and expanding our B2B presence in North America. In this role, you will lead strategy, execution, and performance for all of our B2B relationships in North America.
B2B Strategy & Commercial Partnerships
Develop Yoto’s North American B2B strategy, aligning with broader company goals and global initiatives
Execute our strategy flawlessly, ensuring optimization of distribution channels, pricing structures, and promotional activities to drive revenue growth
Ensure retail operations align with brand objectives, leveraging experiential in-person opportunities to drive market penetration and revenue growth
Drive incremental revenue through strategic wholesale partnerships, including retail, education, and corporate partnerships
Create and execute strategies for educational outreach and partnerships, aligning with Yoto’s commitment to supporting learning
Collaborate with sales and marketing teams to ensure products and campaigns resonate with target consumers
Performance Monitoring & Leadership
Manage and develop B2B Team
Monitor, analyze, and report on the performance of all B2B and retail initiatives, using data-driven insights to optimize strategies and performance
Lead the budgeting and financial planning process for B2B and wholesale partnerships in North America
Ensure a data-driven, results-oriented approach across all initiatives
Analyze market trends, consumer behavior, and competitor strategies to inform business growth opportunities
What you’ll bring:
- 8+ years of experience in business development, partnerships, and/or commercial strategy, ideally in a fast-growth startup or scale-up environment
- Proven track record of developing and executing strategic B2B and retail partnerships, particularly in consumer goods or technology sectors
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and make data-driven decisions
- Deep understanding of North American retail, B2B channels, and educational markets
- Strong negotiation, relationship-building, and contract management skills.
- Outstanding communication and presentation skills, with the ability to engage senior stakeholders and partners
- Demonstrated ability to work across cross-functional teams and collaborate with global counterparts
- Ability to think on your feet, and learn fast
- A passion for bringing new products and innovative audio content experiences to families
Salary: $130,000 - $150,000 based on experience
What you can expect from us:
Flexibility: Hybrid working with a choice based approach - we would love you to come into the Brooklyn office twice a week, if not more. Take advantage of our ‘work from anywhere’ policy to work from a different location for up to 6 weeks every year. Summer Hours policy to use between the months of June and August.

After 4 years of service, you are also eligible for our sabbatical policy offering up to 3 months' of unpaid sabbatical.
