We’re looking for an International Content Assistant (native or bilingual French speaker) to support the busy content team by supporting on a range of administrative and creative tasks with a strong focus on our French and Spanish titles, as well as contributing to the growth of Yoto at an exciting moment in the company’s journey.

Yoto is a screen-free interactive audio platform for kids. We make carefully connected audio players that kids control, with no microphones, cameras or ads. We have a catalogue of audio that inspires creative play and learning with 1,000+ titles in our card store from top creators, publishers and labels - think Disney, Marvel, Roald Dahl and Universal Music. Yoto’s Content Team
The content we produce and licence is at the heart of our business, and we have a dedicated team of children’s media specialists - with experience across publishing, music, education and audio production - who carefully consider every title that makes it into our library. As well as licensing existing audio from some of the biggest names in the world of kids’ entertainment (Disney, Penguin Random House, Mattel, Harper Collins, Sony Music and more), we also develop and produce our own content as part of our Yoto Originals range.
What you’ll be doing:
Assisting the Head of Content Operations with managing a catalogue of over 1,000 cards at various stages of production and liaising with internal teams to solve any issues that arise.
Proofreading all copy and checking printer proofs before they go to print.
Acting as a point of contact for some partner and artist queries, retrieval of assets and using various approval systems to request and receive permissions and assets from licensed partners.
Organising all partner art and audio files from publishers and record labels, as well as gathering and inputting outstanding metadata for titles into our Master Card Tracker.
Setting up new titles including creating a job folder, card ID, SKU, generating GTIN, checking all metadata is ready. Adding audio to dashboard and clipping audio previews.
Selecting suitable chapter icons on dashboard and identifying where bespoke icons are required.
Briefing in new titles and icons to the Design team.
Uploading French and non-English language content to all Shopify sites before launch, and being point of contact for any updates including tagging titles for sales initiatives.
Uploading and maintaining live podcasts, creating card IDs, testing icons, clipping audio previews and scheduling, setting up and taking down free content in the app.
Liaising with the Finance team to add prices to all products.
Acting as point of contact for all non-English content queries related to content operations questions.
Sending contractual copies to partners, the office and internal employees when required.
Help with checking stock statuses and checking weekly stock arrivals.
You will report into the Head of Content Operations, while working closely with the International Content Coordinator and the Content Assistant; supporting the team across a range of tasks where no two days are the same.
What you’ll bring:
Fluent written and spoken French - it is essential that you are native or bilingual French speaker.
Written and spoken Spanish is preferable, but not essential.
1-2+ years of administrative experience in the Publishing, TV/Film, Toy or Licensing industry.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, ability to juggle multiple stakeholders and to work collaboratively within a team.
Experience in setting up translation processes, proofreading copy and providing clear feedback.
Confident using a range of different systems and softwares; such as Shopify, monday.com, ButterCMS etc.,
Excellent organisational skills.
Good eye for detail and an ability to learn quickly.
Ability to work within a fast-paced industry and stick to deadlines.
Knowledge of and passion for the children’s media and entertainment sector.
Knowledge of the UK & US audio market is highly preferred.
Proven ability to multitask and problem-solve efficiently.
Salary: £24,000 - £27,000 based on experience.
