We’re looking for a Licensed Content Manager, International based in London to help build our international catalogue.

Yoto’s Content Team

Content is at the heart of our business, and we have a global team of children’s media specialists – with experience across publishing, music, education, rights, and audio production – who carefully consider every title that makes it into our library. We licence existing audio from some of the biggest names in the world of kids’ entertainment (Penguin Random House, Disney, Gallimard and more), and also develop and produce our own content as part of our Yoto Originals range.

What you’ll do:

Reporting to the Head of Content, Europe and International Expansion, you will help build a best-in-class international catalogue and establish our global partnerships. 

This is a dynamic and hands-on role, collaborating with publishers, character brands and creators to acquire audio content. No two days will the same and some of the things you will be doing include:

• Managing and growing existing publisher, licensor and creator relationships:

• negotiating deals and liaising with our legal team for the execution of contracts;

• reviewing and curating new titles;

• being responsible for internal and external financial reporting;

• liaising with marketing teams to maximise discoverability of the catalogue.

• Onboarding new audio content and publisher/licensor/creator partners.

• Collaborating closely with the rest of the Content team and other internal teams to amplify Yoto’s impact.

• Developing a data-based understanding of the Yoto business as well as international trends, opportunities and new technologies.

• Attending trips and international events.

What you’ll bring:

A minimum of 5 years in international or subsidiary rights.

• A demonstrable passion for children’s publishing and new technologies.

• Proven negotiation and partner management skills.

• Proven ability to thrive in a dynamic, entrepreneurial setting with evolving priorities. 

• Native French, with fluent Spanish is a must; another language would be an advantage.

Salary: £55,000 - £60,000 based on experience

• Flexibility: Hybrid working with a choice based approach - we would love you to come into the office as much as possible, with a minimum of once or twice a month. Take advantage of our ‘work from anywhere’ policy to work from a different location for up to 6 weeks every year. Summer Hours policy to use between the months of June and August.
