Head of Acquisition Marketing (FTC)
We’re looking for a Head of Acquisition to join our team to bring the magic of Yoto to more families by leading the global strategy, execution, and optimisation of all paid acquisition marketing channels.

Yoto is a screen-free interactive audio platform for kids. We make carefully connected audio players that kids control, with no microphones, cameras or ads. We have a catalogue of audio that inspires creative play and learning with 1,000+ titles in our card store from top creators, publishers and labels - think Disney, Marvel, Roald Dahl and Universal Music. We also create Yoto Originals like this one.

What you’ll be doing:
The Head of Acquisition Marketing will own the strategy, execution, and optimisation of all paid acquisition channels globally. You will lead a team of channel specialists (all based in London) to deliver sustainable, profitable growth in new Yoto families globally.
You’ll be responsible for building a best-in-class performance marketing engine; rapidly increasing the number of new families to Yoto, whilst maintaining efficiency (LTV:CAC ratio), and protecting brand equity.
- Own and lead the global acquisition strategy across all channels (paid search, paid social, programmatic, affiliates, ATL media)
- Manage and scale a multi-million-dollar acquisition budget, ensuring optimal ROI and efficient CAC across diverse markets at varying levels of maturity
- Lead, inspire, and grow a high-performing acquisition marketing team, fostering a culture of testing, innovation, and continuous improvement
- Collaborate cross-functionally with Brand Marketing, CRM, eCommerce, Product, and Data teams to ensure acquisition efforts integrate seamlessly with retention, creative, and lifecycle strategies.
- Oversee creative testing and messaging strategy to ensure campaigns resonate across geographies and customer segments.
- Leverage data and analytics to drive decision-making, optimise performance, and identify new growth opportunities.
- Stay ahead of market trends, platform updates, and competitor activity to maintain a competitive edge.
What you’ll bring:
- Proven track record (7+ years) in acquisition/performance marketing for a high-growth global DTC or e-commerce brand. Experience at a fast growth startup/scale up a bonus
- Bachelor's degree
- Experience managing large multi-million $ budgets globally, driving efficient growth
- Deep expertise in paid media platforms (Meta, Google, TikTok, programmatic, ATL) and with some experience in non-paid channels (SEO, content marketing)
- Highly analytical with strong grasp of CAC, LTV, ROAS, and attribution modelling (econometrics, MTA)
- Excellent financial acumen, including budget management and P&L responsibility
- A test-and-learn mindset with the ability to make data-driven, robust decisions rapidly
- A global perspective, with experience adapting campaigns to multiple languages, cultures, and market contexts
- Demonstrated ability to lead cross-functional teams and collaborate with global counterparts
- Inspiring people leader who hires, coaches and retains a high-performing team
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
- Ability to think on your feet, and learn fast.
Salary: £90,000 - £100,000 based on experience

- Flexibility: Hybrid working - expectation of 1 day a week on average in our London office, but you are welcome to come in more than this. How you meet the minimum expectation is up to you, to ensure you're happy and productive in your role whilst also getting that vital face time with your colleagues. Take advantage of our ‘work from anywhere’ policy to work from a different location for up to 6 weeks every year. Summer Hours policy to use between the months of June and August.
