Head of Amazon (6 month FTC)
As Head of Amazon, you will own the end-to-end strategy, execution, and performance of our Amazon channel globally. You’ll be responsible for driving revenue growth, optimizing operations, and improving profitability across all Amazon regions (e.g., US, UK, EU, and future expansions). What you’ll be doing:
- Own the Amazon P&L globally, delivering against our new family growth targets in all marketplaces
- Develop and execute marketplace strategies across 1P, 3P, hybrid, or vendor negotiations as appropriate by region
- Lead international expansion initiatives
- Collaborate with eCommerce & Market teams on pricing & promotional strategy
- Optimise all levers of the Amazon flywheel — from search and SEO to reviews, pricing, and conversion
- Partner with the Performance Marketing team to develop our AMS / Amazon Ads strategy and budget, driving performance via DSP, Sponsored Products, and Display
- Lead on A+ content, Brand Store, and digital shelf optimisation to maximise visibility and conversion
- Partner with supply chain to ensure forecast accuracy, stock availability, FBA optimisation, and demand planning
- Monitor account health, resolve operational issues, and ensure compliance with Amazon policies
- Lead improvements in margin and operational efficiency, including chargebacks, fees, and contributions
- Manage and grow a high-performing Amazon team and agency partners
- Work cross-functionally with product, finance, creative, and customer service to align on execution plans
- Report on KPIs, trends, and insights to inform broader channel strategy.
What you’ll bring:
- 7+ years of experience managing large-scale Amazon businesses (Vendor Central, Seller Central, or both), ideally in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial scale-up environment
- Excellent financial acumen, including budget management and P&L responsibility
- Proven track record of delivering revenue growth and improving Amazon profitability at scale
- Deep understanding of Amazon advertising, algorithm dynamics, and best practices
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and make data-driven decisions. Proficiency in tools such as Excel, Helium 10, Jungle Scout, DataHawk, or similar a must
- Experience managing international Amazon marketplaces (US, UK, EU minimum; APAC a plus)
- Demonstrated ability to lead cross-functional teams and collaborate with global counterparts
- Bachelor's degree
- Ability to think on your feet, and learn fast.
Salary: £85,000 - £95,000 based on experience

How you meet the minimum expectation is up to you, to ensure you're happy and productive in your role whilst also getting that vital face time with your colleagues.
