Accountant, Audit Support (6 month FTC)
We’re looking for an Accountant to join our team on a 6-month Fixed-Term Contract (FTC) to support our month-end close process, with a focus on balance sheet reconciliations and accurate financial reporting. This is a critical role to assist during a busy period.

What you’ll be doing:
As a Junior Accountant, you'll be a key enabler of a fast, smooth and scalable finance function. Working closely with our Senior Accountant, you’ll support core month-end processes while also helping shape a more automated, data-first way of working.
Month-End Close & Reporting
Support transactional month-end reporting, including prepayments, accruals, depreciation, and reconciliations
Perform accurate and timely balance sheet reconciliations
Assist with month- and year-end close processes, helping prepare for audit
Prepare VAT returns and other regulatory submissions
Accounts Receivable & Stakeholder Support
Assist with accounts receivable tasks, liaising with the commercial team to ensure accurate invoicing and collections
Provide ad hoc support to the Senior Accountant and wider finance team
Support the preparation of one-off reports and data requests from business stakeholders
Process Improvement & Automation
Spot manual, repetitive tasks and help automate them using tools like Excel, NetSuite, Power Query, Celigo and Google Sheets
Document new processes and create reusable templates and workflows
Support new system and process implementations, including testing and feedback
Team Collaboration
Be an active part of the finance team, learning fast and contributing ideas
Help improve how we work – we value curiosity, initiative and a willingness to experiment
Partner cross-functionally with ops, commercial, and tech to build a more integrated finance operation
What you’ll bring:
- Part or newly qualified ACA or ACCA (or equivalent)
- Strong understanding of transactional accounting and financial reporting processes
- Proficiency in Excel/Google Sheets
- Excellent organizational skills and ability to prioritize effectively in a fast-paced environment
- Strong communication and collaboration skills across teams
- A proactive, solutions-oriented mindset — eager to learn, try new tools, and improve how finance supports the business
- Experience working in a high-growth company, especially a startup or scale-up
- Knowledge of overseas tax/reporting and multi-entity, multi-currency environments
- Proven experience with NetSuite
- Ability to manage data and leverage systems/automation to reduce manual work — we’re a data-rich, data-first company
Salary: £40,000 - £50,000 based on experience

- Flexibility: Hybrid working - expectation of 1 day a week on average in our London office, but you are welcome to come in more than this. How you meet the minimum expectation is up to you, to ensure you're happy and productive in your role whilst also getting that vital face time with your colleagues. Take advantage of our ‘work from anywhere’ policy to work from a different location for up to 6 weeks every year. Summer Hours policy to use between the months of June and August.
