We’re looking for a 3D Motion Designer to join our team to help bring the Yoto world to life through engaging, playful and beautifully crafted motion.

Yoto’s Growth Team

Yoto’s Growth Team sits at the heart of how we reach more families around the world. They’re responsible for introducing Yoto to new audiences, growing our community, and helping more kids discover the joy of screen-free audio. Working across marketing, performance, partnerships and creative, the team blends imagination with insight, testing, learning and refining how we show up in the world.

What you’ll be doing:

• Design and animate 3D motion graphics that express Yoto’s playful, warm and imaginative brand. 

• Create animations for product videos, launch campaigns, social media, website content and presentations. 

• Develop concepts, storyboards, style frames, and motion exploration from creative briefs.

• Bring physical products to life through 3D visuals, animation and renders. 

• Collaborate with designers, illustrators and copywriters to create cohesive creative work. 

• Balance creativity with clarity, making sure animations are accessible and easy to understand. 

• Manage multiple projects while maintaining a high level of craft and attention to detail.

What you’ll bring:

• Strong experience as a 3D motion designer, with a portfolio or showreel demonstrating high quality work 

• Proficiency in Cinema4D, Blender or similar 3D software 

• Solid experience in after effects and compositing workflows 

• Strong understanding of animation principles, pacing and visual storytelling

• A great eye for design, colour, lighting and composition

• Ability to interpret brand guidelines while pushing creative

• Clear communication and collaborative mindset

• Experience of rendering physical products or consumer electronics

• Knowledge of Redshift, Octane or similar render engine.

Nice to have:

• Experience with playful, character led or child focussed content

• Familiarity with sound design or audio-led storytelling 

• Experience in working in consumer brands, product companies or creative studios.
  

 
Salary: £45,000 - £50,000 based on experience

• Flexibility: Hybrid working - expectation of 1 day a week on average in our London office, but you are welcome to come in more than this. How you meet the minimum expectation is up to you, to ensure you're happy and productive in your role whilst also getting that vital face time with your colleagues. Take advantage of our ‘work from anywhere’ policy to work from a different location for up to 6 weeks every year. Summer Hours policy to use between the months of June and August.
